While we were driving home from school today, Abigail announced that she can speak French!
"'The' in French is 'Zi'" [the 'i' being as in 'in'] she said and then reading the name of a shop we happened to be passing "see, listen: 'Zi Bed Shop'! (The Bed Shop)"!

Great start Abi!! You speak almost as well as my grade 4s!!! So funny!! Debbs, you can actually point out to her all the many shops whose names are actually in french!!! ;)like L'orangerie or Le petit café!!
