Today was a scorcher! Although it is not going to last, according to the weather bureau, it was well into the 30's (Celsius) today!
Abigail spent the morning playing at her friend, Bryce's house while Niave was at a party (the 1st of 2 this week-end!).

Afterwards we headed to Ouma and Oupa's house to swim!
They have a fold up pool that is quite a nice size when up and filled with water which beats our clam shell which is just up to your ankles!
Abigail has recently learnt to knit and started another knitting project just before lunch.
Niave just couldn't wait for the pool to go up and decided to climb into the dogs water bowl instead!
She was very happy when she could finally jump in!
Oh the hours of endless fun you can have with water and a colander!!
Abigail made a brief appearance in the pool but spent the rest of the day knitting...
...and knitting...
...and knitting!
We ended off the day with a braai, a good end to a good day!

That is some excellent knitting you've got going there, Abigail! You are so right about today being a scorcher - if we'd been home more of the day (instead of me and the kids spending the morning shopping at busy Blue Route) we'd definitely have cracked open the pool net!
